that in one day all the textiles were sold! We remain
grateful to Paramparik Karigar for the support at that
crucial time in our lives.
My father faced and overcame a lot of difficulties in
his lifetime. Yet, he was always positive and active. We
have some of the textiles he crafted in our home and
they inspire us to create intricate, multi-coloured textiles.
He was an inspiration for the family and for the artisan
community in Kutch. The artisans and communities of
Kutch have maintained their traditional crafts that have
made the textiles from this region famous worldwide.
We are honoured to carry forward the traditional art of
tie-dye. It is tradition, it is fashion and it is in our blood.
It is our legacy and we strive to spread knowledge of it
worldwide.
