Though both Bagru printing and Dabu printing are
done in Bagru by the same artisans, the processes
are slightly different. For Bagru printing the steps
are fabric cutting, scouring and washing, mordanting
(pila karna),

– to remove extra colour, drying
of fabric, boiling process

plain water wash and then the final finishing of the
fabric.
For Dabu printing, a resist of the mud paste is made
