A mentor to many and a friend to all,
Ganesh Bicchwe’s absence has left a void
in the weaver community. His friends and
well-wishers reminisce the wonderful times
they spent with the man who weaved his
way to success.
S
o many of us, in Maheshwar (Madhya Pradesh), find
ourselves in need of Ganesh’s advice, want to go
across and have a cup of tea with him or hope that
he can drop by and adjust a loom for us. But since May this
year, that has not been possible.
Ganesh’s heart failed him late in the evening this past May
and he left our world as quietly and peacefully as he had lived
in it for 65 years.
