Travel 360
AirAsia Berhad is Malaysia’s award-winning low-cost carrier, and its largest airline by fleet as well as destinations – 254 aircraft flying to 165 destinations. These include all its subsidiaries, one of which is AirAsia India. Established in 2014 with Bengaluru serving as its primary hub, AirAsia India is a joint venture of AirAsia Berhad with Tata Sons.
AirAsia’s in-flight magazine - travel360 is a representation of AirAsia’s friendly and familiar corporate communication style. With a motto like ‘Now Everyone Can Fly’, it was important to set the tone of the magazine right. Spenta Multimedia set about achieving this by ensuring that the design is elegant yet vivid, fun yet meaningful and above all, easy-to-read. The language, look and feel of the magazine is casual and relatable. The main goal of travel360 India edition is to showcase the local cultures of every part of the country as well as celebrate the many experiences available. The content is attuned to the Indian traveller, and particularly emphasizes on destinations that the airline flies to, and places close to the same.
travel360 has regular sections under its ‘Wanderlust’ tag, which are in-depth thematic features based on a place, state and often, if it is a theme applicable to the country as a whole, the country too. The ‘Wanderlust Lenscape’ section is a visually captivating photo-story section, which describes a place through arresting pictures. Discover a new destination every month in the ‘Touchdown’ section with a comprehensive look at where a prospective traveller can ‘Do, Shop, Eat and Stay’ – with a choice to ‘Spend’ or ‘Save’. The crown jewel of the title is the ‘TravelHer’ section – an award-winning segment featuring women writers who chronicle their travels, whether undertaken solo or with other women travellers.
