On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Spenta Multimedia wishes its associates the warmth of a hundred diyas, as we
continue our journey together.
This
November, Spenta Multimedia will launch the Indian
edition of Domus,
an international architecture, interiors, art and
design magazine founded in Milan in 1928. The managing
editor for the Indian edition of Domus will be Radhika
Desai. Editorial intent for Domus India is contiguous
with and carries forward from the originating publication,
while being intensified for this significant moment
in the history of the Indian subcontinent. The Indian
edition of Domus India will act as a pratibimb as
it were, which while mirroring the image of the moment,
will also refract, examine and narrate contemporary
architecture, design and art. In this imaging, it
will unearth and contain new directions and definitions
for practitioners of design and a general readership
alike.
Marwar Magazine
held its Seventh Round Table Wealth Conference together
with Barclay's Bank in Kolkata with industrialists Raghu
Mody, Deepak Jalan, Sanjay Agarwal and Pradeep Sureka.
The topic for the panel discussion was the effect of
globalisation on Indian market dynamics, and the discussion
yielded a great response with all the participants providing
personal examples to illustrate their point of view.
The next issue of Marwar focuses on Marwari patrons
of art and features well-known Marwari artists, enlarging
the cultural view of the community.
Spenta
Multimedia recently worked on and printed a book,
KAMASUTRA: 20 Years
of Pleasure for KamaSutra condoms
(owned by JK Ansell - a joint venture between the
Raymond Group and Ansell International). The book
commemorated the 20-year anniversary of the brand,
tracing its journey from the beginning of its famous
1991-campaign featuring Pooja Bedi and Marc Robinson,
to its more recent endeavors. Completed in less than
a month in conjunction with the advertising agency,
Interface Communications, this 124-page coffee table
book contains glossy double spreads, quotes from several
personalities, including Gautam Singhania, Alyque
Padamsee and Rahul Dev, and a look back at some of
KamaSutra's groundbreaking campaigns. The book was
launched on 16th September, at the Canvas Lounge,
Mumbai, as part of KamaSutra's 20-year celebrations.
Spenta
Multimedia printed and published a book for Paramparik
Karigar, an association of craftspersons,
founded in 1996. The book contains essays and photographs
on various crafts in India, ranging from metal sculptures
to Paithani and pottery. The book was launched during
their September exhibition at Chhatrapati Shivaji
Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. The book is for sale and
all revenues go towards supporting the organisation.
Spenta
Multimedia's affinity for growth is much evident from
the ventures of its Spenta Digital Team. They have successfully
executed and delivered a state of the art website
for Hafeez Contractor, one of India's leading architects
(www.architecthafeezcontractor.com). Increasing the company's
foothold beyond national borders is the website for
New Galexy, a UK based law firm (www.newgalexy.com).
We would also most proudly like to announce that as
a part of our social initiative, an NGO, Wishing Well,
got a new website (www.wishingwellonline.org).
This coming year at Spenta Multimedia, we look forward to further enriching our relationships with clients, while continuing to forge new and lasting ones.
Warm regards,
Maneck Davar
