The
Smart Manager announces the launch of its new website
The Smart Manager magazine—India’s first world-class
management periodical—has launched its new website (www.thesmartmanager.com).
The new site reflects a complete makeover, in keeping with its
goal to reach out to a wider readership. Just like its prestigious
print counterpart, the site is a unique platform showcasing the
work of the world’s best-known managers and academics, without
any close peers in its niche in India. The Smart Manager is published
by Spenta Multimedia, India’s leading publishing house (www.spentamultimedia.com).
The new website has been developed by Spenta Multimedia’s
Online business division.
Commenting
on the new site and the magazine’s future plans, Maneck
Davar, Editor and Publisher, The Smart Manager, said, “Management
knowledge and information of the kind The Smart Manager provides
needs greater dissemination. An interactive web presence will
help the magazine and its many contributors, who are all leaders
in their field, reach out to a wider audience. The Smart Manager
content also lends itself to commercial possibilities."
Easy to navigate and rich in content, the new site offers enhanced
interactivity for users. A major attraction is the assortment
of popular articles made available for free reading and downloading.
Additionally, the site will be home to blogs written by eminent
management thinkers, a forum on books and technology, and a section
titled ‘Smart Question’, which allows users to directly
address their questions to management gurus. The best questions
and letters submitted online will receive prizes.
The
new site hopes to benefit from The Smart Manager’s highly
successful association with rediff.com, which has led to a boom
in traffic and record participation in the magazine’s iconic
property, the Tata Consultancy Services Smart Manager Case Contest.
